Christians: Comply with the LGBT Rules or Become Unemployed

When does the Constitution, the rule of law, apply in America? At all times. So then why does the First Amendment not apply to Christians? A man is standing tall for his faith in Champaign, Illinois against the LGBT mandatory regulations and because of his faith, he may lose his job. This instance sends a message to Christians near and far, comply or be out of work; and that is plainly unacceptable not to mention illegal.

The First Amendment reads: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

The First Amendment applies to all American citizens, not aliens, not the world; but all Americans. However, time and time again Christians are forced to comply with rules, not laws, that go against their faith or face drastic consequences. The consequences range from reeducation to unemployment, and the consequences are getting worse.

David Hall works at the Social Security Administration office in Champaign. He says all employees were told to watch a video about LGBT inclusion, but he claims that violates his religious freedom.

Hall says he’s expecting to be fired. He says he hopes it won’t come to that, but if it does, so be it. WCIA News sat down with him to let him explain his position, but that’s something LGBT community leaders say makes no sense.

“I can’t be any more sorta Christian than you can be sorta pregnant.”

David Hall has no problem signing his name on a blank piece of paper. His issue is signing something to confirm he’s watched a workplace diversity training video on the subject of LGBT customers.

“They wanted me to certify that I had completed the training,” says Hall. “I’m not going to certify sin.”

Hall works in this office as an IT guy of sorts, so he doesn’t deal directly with social security patrons. But after refusing to watch the video, he says he was still reprimanded for insubordination, then suspended for two days without pay. He says he requested a religions accommodation, but that was denied.

“My complaint is more with the fact that it was mandatory. We have never done that for another particular class of people. This is the only group of individuals that we’ve done it for. We haven’t done it for veterans, the disabled, blacks, Hispanics, or anything else.”

Score, a biologically confused individual, is the president of Champaign county’s UP Center, an LGBT social services agency. She says she’s surprised a training video is behind this.

“Well my response to him would probably be quite a lengthy lecture on the historical implications of being queer and accessing social services,” says Stephanie Skora.

At first glance I was confused and thought he thought that there was depiction of gay activity in the video or something,” says Skora.

“I would argue that it’s not a training video,” says Hall, “It’s promoting an agenda and a lifestyle that I simply don’t agree with.”

Hall is one of many Christians who are fed up with the system forcing Christians to comply or face consequences. But that’s not all, the attack on Christianity doesn’t just come from the LGBT community, it comes from various locations and practices. Plus, this ordeal is not the only one just recently Colorado Springs attempted to deem the name of Jesus as hate speech.

Violating the rights of every American is one thing, but to systematically attack one faith the way the United States government has in recent years; showcases the events prescribed in the End of Days as the Bible states.

Christians in Colorado Springs, have just about lost their First Amendment Rights. The Charis Christian Center ran an ad which reads ‘Jesus is Lord’ for the past three years. But because of ONE single complaint from a resident; the city will potentially no longer allow the word ‘Jesus’ to be used in advertisements. The city claims it is because ‘Jesus’ invites hate messaging.

The move by the city is not about removing the entire advertisement. There is one blatant word which the city seeks to eliminate; Jesus. A steady yet alarming trend is taking place all over the world; the attack on Christians far and wide, with America leading the way.

The city is paranoid that the name of Jesus may offend some individuals, which is why Colorado Springs claims that allowing the name of Jesus is allowing hate speech. The city states;

The Bible rings true, and Christian oppression is on the rise around the world not just in America. The truth is that these are the End Times as the Bible states, and as time goes on these “incidents” will become more frequent, and the consequences will grow drastically. One of the biggest attempts to censor Christians and the truth begins at the end of this month, unless Congress steps in.
