(LifeSiteNews) — An Ontario policewoman has spoken out against the enforcement of COVID-related mandates in Canada, firmly stating her position that the restrictions on Canadian freedoms amount to a violation of the Charter of Rights.

In a short video on YouTube, the woman, who did not state her name, said she has been a police officer in Ontario “for almost 12 years and I am still very proud to serve my community.”
The officer recalled that upon being hired as a policewoman, she “swore an oath, and that oath is very simple. It is [to] uphold the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and to serve and protect my community.”
Lamenting that she and other officers dedicated to protecting the civil liberties of citizens across the nation have been stifled in this pursuit, she accused the governing powers of pressuring officers into following orders using disciplinary actions.
