WASHINGTON (LifeSiteNews) — “This is a news story that shouldn’t be a story at all,” constitutional lawyer Jonathan Alexandre told LifeSiteNews regarding the reinstallation of razor wire fencing around the U.S. Capitol in advance of Joe Biden’s March 1 State of the Union Address.
Working in concert with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Capitol Hill Police force is “now walling off Congress from access of everyday Americans,” said Alexandre, Liberty Counsel’s governmental affairs senior counsel.
According to a recently released DHS terrorism advisory, the United States remains in a “heightened threat environment,” due to the existence of individuals who spread misleading narratives regarding election fraud and COVID-19.
“If you’re reading and doing research yourself and finding your own individual medical solutions to stopping the spread of COVID-19, you’re now labeled by DHS as promoting terroristic acts,” explained Alexandre to LifeSite’s Jim Hale. And if you question the integrity of our elections, “you’re considered a threat.”
