Disney vows to fight Florida law that protects students from being groomed into LGBT lifestyle

ORLANDO, Florida (LifeSiteNews) — Disney criticized Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis after he signed the Parental Rights in Education bill on Monday, calling for the court or the legislature to strike it down.

The legislation protects parents and students from teachers and counselors who groom kids to identify as homosexual or transgender, meaning gender dysphoric. It applies to children in grades PreK through 3rd.

Disney opposes the legislation.

“Our goal as a company is for this law to be repealed by the legislature or struck down in the courts,” a statement posted on the company’s Twitter said. The company never refers to the bill by its real name, the Parental Rights in Education bill, but instead uses the term favored by the media and homosexual activists.

“[The] ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill, should never have passed and should never have been signed into law,” Disney said. The word “gay” does not appear anywhere in the legislation.
