(LifeSiteNews) — The Biden administration’s Department of Justice (DOJ) this week unsealed federal charges against an Israeli-American think-tank leader who made serious corruption allegations against the Biden family in the lead-up to the 2020 election.
In a July 10 press release by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, federal prosecutors announced unsealing an eight-count indictment charging Gal Luft, co-director of the Institute for the Analysis of Global Security think tank, with a slew of crimes, including making false statements to federal agents, arms trafficking, and failure to register under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) while allegedly acting to “advance the interests of the People’s Republic of China.”
Luft was indicted in November and arrested in February in the Republic of Cyprus, though he allegedly “fled after being released on bail while extradition proceedings were pending and remains a fugitive.”
Republicans in the House Oversight Committee looking into the legality of the Biden family’s business dealings say that Luft has been the “missing witness” in their investigation, The Daily Wire reported.
