(LifeSiteNews) — Tech mogul Elon Musk last week argued that elite U.S. schools and universities that teach “full-on communism” are to blame for his estrangement from his 18-year-old son Xavier, who now claims to be a woman and goes by the name Vivian.
The Tesla and SpaceX founder, whose much-publicized $44 billion deal to purchase Big Tech platform Twitter is currently pending, made the remarks in a long-form interview with the Financial Times last week.
Musk, who has nine children with three different women, told the Times he thinks Xavier chose to create the rift due to the influence of “neo-Marxists” who he said lead America’s elite schools and universities and teach “full-on communism. … and a general sentiment that if you’re rich, you’re evil.” It’s unclear what school the 18-year-old is currently attending or has attended in the past.
Musk said the alienation between himself and his son “may change,” but emphasized that he has “very good relationships with all the others.”
“Can’t win them all,” he said.
