Feminist slams ‘Fixer Upper’ stars for 5th baby: We need to ‘shame’ them for being ‘irresponsible’

CANADA, January 15, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – “Procreation is becoming a global public health concern, rather than a personal decision,” a feminist wrote for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) in an article trashing “Fixer Upper” stars Chip and Joanna Gaines for having a fifth child.

“It’s not an exaggeration to say that the survival of our species depends” on population control, Kristen Pyszczyk wrote. Even though population control “carries with it associations with eugenics and other nasty historical events…we still need to talk about it.”

The Gaines couple of HGTV fame announced the existence of their fifth child by posting a photo on Instagram. In it, Chip and Joanna compare their bellies.

“Gaines party of 7.. (If you’re still confused.. WE ARE PREGNANT),” Chip wrote.

His wife shared a video of their baby’s heartbeat on Twitter.

Not everyone is happy the Gaines children each have a fourth sibling, though.

Quoting Stephen Hawking and speculating that humans might need to colonize another planet within 100 years to survive, Pyszczyk urged, “let’s lighten the load, friends.”
