OTTAWA, Ontario (LifeSiteNews) — Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Wednesday told the House of Commons that he had “mandated the Minister of the Environment” to go ahead with an initiative geared at fighting “environmental racism.”
Minister of the Environment Steven Guilbeault tweeted a video of Trudeau’s support and wrote: Environmental racism is an issue our government takes very seriously. Everyone, regardless of their background, is entitled to a healthy environment. #BillC226 aligns with our Government’s mandate commitments and ensures that environmental racism is addressed and prevented.”
