(LifeSiteNews) — On this week’s episode of The Van Maren Show, Jonathon interviews Irish pro-life filmmaker Ann McElhinney, who co-produced Gosnell: The Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer with her husband, Phelim McAleer.

McElhinney has a new podcast on Dr. Kermit Gosnell, the incarcerated abortionist at the center of her film, which you can check out here on Spotify.

The filmmaker describes what it was like to speak with Gosnell in person.

“He has a very specific aspect,” she says. “He behaves like somebody who had just come in from playing golf. He has this light airiness to him, and he has a soft voice. He smiles all the time. He’s deeply disturbing to spend time with, and I was with him for 3 hours in the prison, 3 hours too long, but that’s the job.”

McElhinney says her new podcast aims to “change people’s hearts” on abortion — a task she sees as more important than merely changing laws. Serial Killer: A True Crime Story is available on Spotify. Listen to Jonathon’s interview with McElhinney below:

The Van Maren Show is hosted on numerous platforms, including SpotifySoundCloudYouTubeiTunes, and Google Play.
