(LifeSiteNews) – A group of nearly 5,000 public service employees in the Canadian province of Alberta joined forces to demand that COVID jab mandates be “rescinded immediately.”
“We are vaccinated and unvaccinated Alberta Public Servants and family supporters of the Alberta Public Service, from all government ministries and departments, standing together against the Government of Alberta employee covid vaccine mandate,” said the group called MyAPSChoice.
“We respectfully request that the vaccine mandate be rescinded immediately. We legally oppose the administration and enforcement of such unlawful employer-to-employee actions.”
MyAPSChoice has retained the legal services of Rath & Company to help fight the provincial government of Premier Jason Kenney for mandating all civil servants to be jabbed or be fired.
The group has also written an open letter to Ray Gilmore, the Deputy Minister of Executive Council with the Alberta Public Service Commission, saying that mandating jabs is an “unlawful order is not enforceable.”
“Whether or not our deep personal concerns are rooted in our individual legal, ethical, moral or spiritual beliefs, we are unanimous in our view that the Government of Alberta Public Service and Alberta Health Services vaccine mandate policy – is the wrong and inappropriate alternative to overcoming COVID19,” the group’s open letter states.
