EDMONTON, Alberta (LifeSiteNews) – A Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) in Alberta slammed his province over its vaccine mandates for workers.
On Tuesday, Peter Guthrie, a United Conservative Party MLA, rebuked his own government over its vaccine mandates for provincial workers and its empowerment of private businesses to impose their own mandates on the residents of Alberta.

“I support the committee recommendations and oppose any organization directing mandatory use of an active medical procedure, including vaccinations, on the citizens of this province,” Guthrie told the legislature.
“Unfortunately, over the course of the last few months, we have seen government organizations, institutions, and businesses implement vaccination policies with termination as a result of non-compliance,” added the politician.
“I unequivocally disagree with this approach.”
Provincial institutions such as Alberta Health Services (AHS) have already imposed a strict vaccine mandate for all workers, requiring employees, including medical professionals such as doctors and nurses, to receive at least one of the experimental COVID-19 jabs by November 30 or be placed on unpaid leave.
