Hey guys, I actually attend a Hebrew roots Bible study group once a week. Now although I don’t agree with everything that the others in the group do, I, at the same time, find nothing wrong with wanting to celebrate Gods Holy Days. I certainly don’t believe we need to follow the letter of the law, as Paul says, we must follow the spirit of the law, which is written on our hearts. But , think about it. What could be more loving than to want to celebrate on Gods Holy Days as given us in scripture. I think it’s beautiful. Passover is March 31 in eastern standard and the Feast of Unleavened Bread starts on April 1 and goes until April 7. These feasts represent the end of enslavement to Egypt and the immediate journey thereafter, including the parting of the Red Sea. Of course Passover also represents the death and resurrection of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. Enjoy these feasts and remember.
God bless.

Thank you, for sharing that with us, Mic333! I believe the Church has much bigger fish to fry and they absolutely refuse to do it: purge their churches and homes of the counterfeit bibles they’re using! When I approach pastors and other bible teachers about it, suddenly, their fruit of the “spirit” turns very sour, savage, and saddening. They don’t even want to see the many errors and contradictions in them, but yet, they foolishly believe they are of God and hear His voice. Mt. 7: 20-23 applies to these spiritual heretics. I would prefer to see them ALL implement the Jewish feasts, with the right motivation than to be leading their unsuspecting flocks away with man’s word and not God’s Word. Blessings!

Good day my brother. Yes unfortunately I’ve noticed mainstream churches, and even not so mainstream, are not always showing the true fruits of the Spirit, at least that’s what the book I’m reading shows. My good friend and Pastor at the church I used to attend doesn’t understand why I’d want to celebrate the feasts or as I call them, Gods Holy Days. And he doesn’t celebrate anything, he knows that Easter is not about Jesus but Ishtar etc.
He doesn’t celebrate Christmas, so just no holidays at all. Kinda sad if you ask me. I still go to his church, my old church, once in a while but only when he, my friend, is preaching. He’s the only one who doesn’t go all Ellen White says this or that, all the time. Yes they’re Seventh Day Adventists, and of course I can’t believe everything they do either but the seventh day thing rang true with me.? The people are really good people in this particular church as well, but I still tend to differ on a lot of belief issues. Oh well, I know what I know and they believe what they believe.

Good afternoon, Brother in Christ!

It’s too bad when we as Christians, cannot find pure Biblical Christians to fellowship with anymore. Here, in Nova Scotia’s Annapolis Valley where I live, you will NOT find God in very many churches these days. He’s been replaced with counterfeit modern per-versions of His Word, as I said before. Where they still use the Holy Bible, they are so self-righteous and judgmental that nobody wants to be around them. They may as well be listening to Ellen White and Betty White! LOL

Therefore, I lead others to Christ and train them up with the word of God and they do the same, then we have fantastic fellowship! Eventually, the Church is going to have to go underground if we are not Raptured up first, so we’re getting used to it already.

Most of the organized churches are government-run churches these days; people turn themselves in whenever they pay a tithe. When the widow woman put her meager savings into the treasury in the temple, she didn’t ask for a receipt, so she could get a tax “refund” at the end of the year, as they do nowadays! It’s all about tracking and letting people turn themselves in to the government thugs when the roundup begins…for a tiny reimbursement…if any at all!

There are good people in every organization, but that doesn’t make them children of God, as you know, Rom. 3: 10, 23. I’m also aware that we are not to fellowship with those who have false prophets, etc., so I leave that up to you and God. His Word is just as clear on that as He is on the Sabbath day observance. The seventh day is the catcher that appeals to folks like you and I, and I truly believe that is the day we are to observe, as I see nowhere in Scripture where God prescribes anything different for Gentile Christians. Blessings!

Does anyone else read these articles or moderate them, so this issue can be resolved?

Nate, shortly after this article was posted, I tried to open the link to the Hebrew Roots movement article, and the link doesn’t open. I get an Html error; “video file not found”, as I said, when I first emailed you about this.

Blessings,

Thomas
