Interesting question to leave off the article. Actually I do. This is not to say we, as Christians, need to sacrifice ourselves to help or encourage this change. I believe it is one thing to lower a rope to one who is in a hole, to help them out, and another to extend our hand. With the rope, when we see them trying to pull us down, we can let go. With our hand, if we let go, they can still have enough of a hold to do quite a bit of damage.
Now this sounds all fine and dandy, but have I mastered it? NOT. Far from it. I frequently extend myself to help others and end up paying the price for doing so. Yet for some reason I still keep trying. I find myself blinded by my own want to “do the right thing”. As of late I am trying to find that fine line of doing right by myself and still being able to help others. I have hope that one day I will find it
PS Love you guys page, keep up the good work! Yes I am registered but not paying.
Excellent commentary.
