At least five people were severely burn after a hot air balloon struck into power lines Saturday night in Clinton, Massachusetts. The Federal Aviation Administration said the crash happened in Greeley and Brook streets, when the balloon attempted to land in a residential area near Clinton. It hit a power line and caught on fire. The five people who were injured in the incident were all on board the hot air balloon and they suffered from severe burns. Witnesses said they saw the balloon hit the power lines and then the balloon exploded. Residents rushed to help the victims while others called 911 right away. Police and fire officials immediately arrived at the scene. The FAA said it would investigate the crash, while the police have not released the names of those injured in the incident. The crash caused 600 customers of the National Grid to lose power, but most were restored quickly.
