Description:
Roughly 10,000 customers temporarily lost their power on Monday evening as a thunderstorm moved through Eastern Idaho, according to Idaho Power officials. Customers in Pocatello, Inkom, American Falls, Fort Hall and Arbon lost their power for about 20 minutes. Idaho Power officials said the unusually large, but thankfully short, outage was weather-related. The National Weather Service issued flood advisories and severe thunderstorm warnings for several areas on Monday night. Weather officials said there were reports of up to three-quarter inch hail in Pocatello, and three or four inches of water on Clark Street, between Interstate 15 and Fourth Avenue.
