(LifeSiteNews) — Former President Donald Trump just endorsed Michigan State Representative Steve Carra’s run for Congress. Carra, 32, and serving in his first term, is seeking to unseat Republican Congressman Fred Upton, a life-long politician who voted to impeach Trump earlier this year.
Upton represented Michigan’s 6th congressional district since the late 1980s.

In his statement supporting Carra, Trump said that Upton had not done the job that Americans need. “He voted for Impeachment of the President of the United States on rigged up charges … he doesn’t deserve to keep his seat,” Trump’s statement read.
