(LifeSiteNews) — CBC News has announced it “regrets” alleging Alberta’s premier interfered with the criminal prosecution of cases involving COVID protests in Alberta that blocked traffic at a U.S. border crossing.
On July 5, the Canadian Broadcasting Cooperation (CBC) issued their second amendment to a January story alleging that Alberta Premier Danielle Smith’s office contacted Crown prosecutors via email to see if they could offer amnesty to Albertans charged with breaking so-called COVID rules by participating in a border blockade in Coutts, Alberta.
