(LifeSiteNews) — Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and California Governor Gavin Newsom have tentatively agreed to a debate on Fox News hosted by Sean Hannity.
“Absolutely, I’m game,” Gov. DeSantis said on Fox News Wednesday night in response to a question from Hannity. Newsom had previously offered to debate the Florida Republican.
“The debate between California and Florida is already over. People have been voting with their feet for years,” DeSantis wrote later on X (formerly known as Twitter). “But the debate about the future of our country is one we need to have. I’m game to talk about my plans to reverse the decline in this country anytime, anywhere, because I have the best vision for the future of our country.”
Hannity hosted Newsom last month.
