The Hypocrisy is Unending, John Oliver’s Last Week Tonight’s attack on Crisis Pregnancy Centers

John Oliver makes a segment promoting abortion clinics like Planned Parenthood by attacking the legitimacy of Crisis Pregnancy Centers. Does the Last Week Tonight host know the incriminating evidence that has been posted showing the illegitimate practices of Planned Parenthood?

What is supposed to be late night comedic television has turned into leftist propaganda media. About a month ago John Oliver attacked the Pence families children’s book ‘A Day in the Life of Marlon Bundo’ by hosting a 20-minute segment on all the controversy that has ever surrounded Mike Pence. Now, the show host is taking an even deeper dig at evangelical beliefs by promoting abortion and attacking the legitimacy of crisis pregnancy centers.

On Last Week Tonight with John Oliver “Crisis Pregnancy Centers,” Oliver opens the segment by comparing the banning of pornography to the banning of abortion saying “Pornography, some people say it should be available and accessible without stigma, others think well its not for me but its fine for people in certain situations, and a few people think it should be banned completely. Oh, did I say pornography, sorry, I meant abortion.”

How can one compare taking an innocent life to an adult actively deciding to watch porn? In one case innocent blood is being shed, in another, an adult is seeking to indulge their sin nature. Abortion clinics take it even a step further, not only do they assist in terminating pregnancies, they also then take the fetus and violate it further by utilizing the tissue for research and or allegedly making a profit off of the ‘harvested fetal tissue.’

Oliver seems afraid of crisis pregnancy centers as he says, “the thing is that medical advice can actually look pretty legitimate because CPC’s often have the trappings of a health care facility.” The real question here is, why would you advocate for agencies like Planned Parenthood and act as if they are legitimate? Planned Parenthood has been exposed for manipulating pregnant women into giving their unborn child to “science” after which the company sells the fetal body parts and tissue that they “harvested” to bio-science companies like DV Biologics and DaVinci Biosciences, who have since admitted fault and been shut down for such illicit practices.

David Daleiden, project lead for the Center for Medical Progress, helped run undercover investigative reports into the illicit sale of body parts and tissue from unborn babies at Planned Parenthood clinics, fetal tissue companies, and leaders in the abortion industry.

“The DaVinci companies’ admission of guilt for selling baby parts from Planned Parenthood is a ringing vindication of (the Center for Medical Progress’) citizen journalism methods and accuracy,” said Daleiden.

“In light of the news that Planned Parenthood is now under federal investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice for the sale of fetal body parts, the next step is for Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties to be held accountable under the law for their seven-year-long aiding, abetting, and profiting in DaVinci’s criminal scheme to sell baby parts for profit,” he added.

The Evidence Continues to Stack Up Against Them

Former abortion workers say that Planned Parenthood pressures women into abortions for the agencies own personal gain. Former Planned Parenthood manager Annette Lancaster who told her story through ‘And Then There Were None’ says that she used to get in trouble by Planned Parenthood administrators when she gave pregnant mothers more time to decide whether or not they wanted an abortion.

Lancaster was told, “’Why did you only do 25 procedures today? Why did you send this many women home?’ Because I was the type of center manager that if a woman was unsure, she wasn’t getting the procedure done today under my watch. I was quick to give people a refund, or send women home and tell them, you know, to continue thinking about it…”

When Annette was asked what she hated most about working in the abortion industry, she said, “I think for me it was the fact of the lying to the women. I have labeled it as emotional manipulation. We were taught to teach these women, well, whenever they asked the question, “Is God going to forgive me?” “Well, what type of God do you serve? Do you think that God will forgive you?” It was answering a question with a question.”

The real business that should be investigated is Planned Parenthood, the abortion clinic that has actually had to testify in front of Congress to defend its unethical practices. While the clinic claims that the Daleiden footage is altered, the statements that were made by clinicians and administrators from Planned Parenthood are alarming enough, no doctoring of the footage is needed. In conclusion, John Oliver may need to reconsider who the legitimate care provider is for expectant mothers. Is it one that violates their consent, manipulates situations for monetary gain, and makes profit off of harvested fetuses with bio-science companies? Or, is it crisis pregnancy centers who advocate life, where mothers are treated with respect and not just as a womb to steal from?
