The MRFF lodged a complaint against the Brig. General because of his personal website. The Christian Brig. General post’s links to articles, Christmas videos, and Scriptures to his website called; Prayer at Lunchtime for the United States.

The complainant argues that the website, which is personally owned by the Brig. General not publicly owned, is in violation of the Air Force and Defense Department rules.

A brief description on the website about Brig. Gen. Teichert reads; “John is an active duty Brigadier General who has served in the United States Air Force since 1994, and who was saved by grace through faith in Christ in 2004. He has commanded at the wing, group, and squadron levels, and is currently serving as Air Force commander. The Lord has blessed his career while burdening his heart with the need for our nation to return to its Christian foundation. He serves alongside his amazing wife of 20 years and their three incredible children. It is their desire to fully invest their lives to maximize their impact on people and on our nation for the Lord.”

On Monday the MRFF released a press statement to news outlets which said that Teichert ” should be doing time behind prison bars, not commanding a wing wearing general’s stars.”

Furthermore, the organization also branded Teichert as “a fundamentalist Christian tyrant and religious extremist predator,” while claiming that they have received forty-one complaints against him during his time at Edwards Air Force Base.

Teichert’s biography, which is available on his website, includes some of his credentials and that he is a highly decorated and experienced individual. In fact, the Brig. Gen. “commanded the 11th Wing and Joint Base Andrews, responsible for the security, personnel, contracting, finance, medical and infrastructure support for five wings, three headquarters, and over 80 tenant organizations, as well as 60,000 Airmen and families in the National Capital Region and around the world.”

Furthermore, his many decorations include; the Defense Superior Service Medal, the Legion of Merit, the Meritorious Service Medal with two oak leaf clusters, the Air Medal with one oak leaf cluster and the Aerial Achievement Medal with six oak leaf clusters.

However, in the complaint lodged by the MRFF, it would appear as though that the organization is attempting to remove the ability of the Brig. General to display his success and his faith simultaneously.

If the MRFF wishes to be taken seriously they need to spend equal energy, time & resources attacking religious expressions of Islam as they do Christianity. Otherwise they’ll continue to remain the Christian bigots & hacks they are.

Good luck finding cases of Islamic imposition using positions of government authority. In the extremely rare cases of that happening, don’t you think that Christian organizations swoop in before The MRFF is ever contacted?

Praise God, there are brave men and women in our military, standing firm for Jesus Christ and Resisting the devil so that he might flee from them. The battle is daily, and much Prayer is required to stand firm for Christ. Keep doing what God has commissioned you to do. Stand firm against satan and his puny minions.

So the Brig General is serving ultimately to defend our freedom including but not limited to freedom of speech and freedom of religion and yet he is not allowed his own? Who are these ignorant intolerant idiots? Was it Voltaire who said I may not agree with what you say but defend to the death your right to say it? You go ahead and disagree with the Brig General. Show yourself. You have every right just as the Brig has every right to live the way he wants and say what he wants.. But throw a free person in jail for exercising their freedoms? Freedoms afforded to you by others that choose to serve for ideals that are bigger than self. Arrogant idiots.
Power to ya General! Keep standing. Be Strong and of good courage. Keep up the good fight of faith in Jesus name!.

He does have rights, but he agreed to quite a few limitations related to his job. One was a requirement to clearly express that he’s speaking as a citizen, not as or for the military, when discussing certain matters. He didn’t do that on the blog. Instead he used pictures in uniform and invoked his military status repeatedly in relation to his personal statements.

Our first amendment right is being taken away. Most Christians and Americans have no idea of what’s about to happen. GOD will judge America for this. And for other things that will happen I the in the future.

Nobody is taking away your rights or the generals. He agreed to certain conduct restrictions related to his job. He violated some of those restrictions by mixing his military status with his statements as a citizens.

I’ve read the original letter where the quote;”separation of church and state” came from… it was and has been bastardized and used by those who want to abuse Christians for their faith and morals. I no longer have respect or consideration for anyone who uses that quote to manipulate a conversation or misuse it for twisting the truth…
