BOSTON, Massachusetts (LifeSiteNews) — Conservative advocacy group Make Americans Free Again (MAFA) is claiming victory after the mayor of Boston announced she would ditch the city’s discriminatory COVID vaccine passport scheme shortly after the group filed a federal lawsuit challenging the rule.
In a Friday press release, the Ohio-based conservative group noted that Boston’s Democrat Mayor Michelle Wu dropped her city’s discriminatory COVID passport scheme hours after an attorney funded by MAFA filed a lawsuit in a Massachusetts District Court.

The February 18 legal challenge was submitted by Massachusetts-based attorney Richard Chambers Jr. against the city of Boston, Boston’s Democrat Mayor Michelle Wu, the Executive Director of Boston Public Health, and the Boston Public Health Commissioner.
The lawsuit came after Chambers had sent a letter to Wu 10 days earlier “asking her to work within the law,” to which he received no response.
