Brother of persecuted Canadian pastor arrested after highway stop, gets out on bail

CALGARY, Alberta (LifeSiteNews) – Pastor Artur Pawlowski’s brother Dawid was released today from jail after being arrested yesterday by Alberta sheriffs for a breach of his bail conditions.

Pawlowski live-streamed to his Facebook page his arrest, which appears to have taken place on a highway in the Calgary area.

Pawlowski said he was stopped by police at one of their roadside checkpoints for “commercial vehicles,” but noted to cops he was in a non-commercial “church vehicle.”

Alberta sheriffs did not at first tell Pawlowski why he was being charged, but after pressing for an answer, they said he was being arrested for “breaching conditions” of this bail.

Dawid was last arrested on New Year’s Day along with his brother in a highway takedown for allegedly breaking a court order.

Before exiting the vehicle, Pawlowski said into his phone camera, “OK, everyone, may God bless you and keep you.”

“Praise God, these people have no idea what they are doing, because what they are doing is with their own foolish hands. The fools are destroying their own houses,” Pawlowski said.
