California lawmaker wants kids as young as 12 to get vaccinated without parents’ knowledge

SACRAMENTO, California (LifeSiteNews) — A Democratic state senator has introduced legislation to allow children to get jabbed without their parent’s knowledge or consent.  

Senator Scott Wiener argued that, since kids can already get birth control and abortions without their parent’s permission, this legislation fits in with the state’s approach to health care. 

SB 866 would “authorize a minor 12 years of age or older to consent to vaccines that meet specified federal agency criteria.” 

“California law already allows 12-17 year olds to access various forms of healthcare without parental consent, eg: HPV & hep B vaccines, abortion care, birth control, mental healthcare, domestic violence-related care,” Wiener wrote on Twitter.  

“SB 866 builds on this existing law to expand vaccine access.”

The state senator blamed the so-called “unvaxxed” for putting other people at risk from COVID-19.
