HAMILTON, Ontario (LifeSiteNews) — Top Canadian pro-life and pro-family group Campaign Life Coalition urged Ontario citizens to ask their representatives to reject a proposed bill that seeks to create a radical pro-LGBT “committee” to advocate for the expansion of taxpayer funded “gender affirming” healthcare surgeries and practices.
In a press release Tuesday, Campaign Life Coalition (CLC) implored Ontario citizens to write the Members of Provincial Parliament (MPP) to voice their opposition to a proposed radical pro-LGBT Bill 17. The bill, introduced by left-wing New Democratic Party (NDP) MPP Suze Morrison, seeks to create a “Gender Affirming Health Care Advisory Committee” to advocate for expanding surgery options covered by taxpayers beyond just “genital” and “chest” gender reassignment, and to include “facial feminization, chest contouring, and electrolysis.”
“Once again, the LGBT lobby is trying to push their destructive agenda in Ontario,” wrote David Cooke, CLC’s campaigns manager. “Bill 17, if passed, would create a biased pro-LGBT government committee whose sole purpose would be to push the LGBT agenda in provincial health care policy.
