Canadian gov’t provides funding to support ‘awareness’ of dangerous ‘chemsex’

OTTAWA (LifeSiteNews) – The federal government of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has pledged to help fund a project relating to the dangerous practice known as “chemsex,” which is something that occurs mostly between homosexual men who use hard drugs to fuel an increase in their promiscuity.

In total, more than $20,000 has been promised by the Trudeau Liberals to fund a project that it claims is to raise awareness about chemsex but does not condemn the practice as harmful.

In total, SafeLink Alberta Society, located in Calgary, Alberta, will get $21,031 added to its original funding of $108,159 for the “Chemsex Awareness Project.” The money comes from Health Canada’s Substance Use and Addictions Program (SUAP).

The program claims to “provide tools to reduce the harms associated with substance use and mental health problems within the gay/bisexual/male community.”

SafeLink says its “mission is to reduce the risks associated with sexual activity and substance use through education, non-judgmental services, and harm reduction programming.”
