COUTTS, Alberta (LifeSiteNews) – The truckers’ blockade at the Alberta-Montana border continues as tow-truck drivers refuse government requests to remove the trucks.

Local towing companies told the Western Standard that for three days police have asked for their help in removing the trucks, tractors, and other vehicles participating in the peaceful demonstration against Canadian COVID policies.

The companies told the newspaper that they were not going to participate.

A variety of towing companies in the area were asked by the Western Standard if they were going to help the RCMP remove the trucks. One company did send some trucks, but none of the drivers followed through in assisting authorities.

After being contacted by the Western Standard, one of the largest companies in the area told the publication, “We don’t want to get involved, so we won’t be commenting.”
