ChinaAid president Bob Fu shared footage on Facebook of what reportedly shows Communist authorities burning a Cross atop a Church as Christian persecution in China continues to escalate.
However, according to the organization, such occurrences have taken place multiple times over the last several years.
Chinese authorities have increasingly ramped up the persecution of Christians over the past few months reportedly because of the ‘revised’ Regulations on Religious Affairs.
The revision aims to set in place the administrative framework for ‘protecting citizens rights to religious belief.’
In addition, China Aid was recently informed by a Church Elder in Henan that local authorities are requesting that Church leaders read aloud the regulations to congregants for ten minutes each church service.
Furthermore, as a result of the administrative framework earlier this month Fox News reported that Chinese Authorities are destroying crosses, burning bibles, closing churches and forcing Christian believers to sign papers renouncing their faith.
