TORONTO (LifeSiteNews) — Premier Doug Ford has told the Freedom Convoy protesters to leave Parliament Hill and “let the people of Ottawa live their lives.”
Despite imposing extreme restrictions and continuous lockdowns on his population for the past two years, Ontario Progressive Conservative (PC) Premier Doug Ford told the Freedom Convoy protesters currently demonstrating against dictatorial COVID-19 measures in Ottawa to “move on” as they are disrupting the lives and businesses of the city’s residents.
“People have to move on,” Doug Ford told reporters on Tuesday morning. “I get it. I hear you, but we have to let the people of Ottawa live their lives.”
He added: “There’s a million people that live in Ottawa. I hear you. I hear the protesters, the province hears the protesters, the country hears the protesters.”
“Now it’s time to let the people in Ottawa get back to their lives. These businesses that have been closed for a while now, the restaurants want to reopen.”
