Fred Thompson has zero credibility when it comes to impeachment proceedings. Remember he voted not guilty on Clinton’s first impeachment count (perjury). Though Thompson said Clinton did commit perjury he viewed this perjury count has unworthy for impeachment. The House makes that decision not the senate. He does vote guilty on the obstruction which was related to the perjury count. It was a cynical move to save his Hollywood career and his political neck.
