‘Freedom will always triumph in the end’: Canadian party leader offers hope amid COVID mandates

(LifeSiteNews) — People’s Party of Canada leader Maxime Bernier offered hope to Canadians weighed down by draconian COVID rules, saying the “future is ours” because “freedom” will win in the end.

“Reading some of my emails, I noticed that some people are discouraged by these vaccine passports and the loss of our freedoms. We should not be discouraged, because our ideas like our fight against the vaccine passport and for freedom are not so popular today and are not shared by the majority of our fellow citizens,” said Bernier in a video message posted on Twitter Monday. “The future is ours, because the cause of freedom will always triumph in the end. Stay strong and free.”

Bernier said that just because the idea of being free from overbearing government rules is “not widely accepted” does not mean that “it is not just and true.”
