German gov’t website encourages puberty blockers, hormone ‘therapies’ for gender-confused children

(LifeSiteNews) — The German government has established a website instructing children and adolescents in “same-sex lifestyles and gender diversity,” including information on taking puberty blockers and hormone “therapies” if their body “does not fit in with their feelings.” 

The public info-website, called “rainbow portal,” is a service provided by the Federal German Ministry of Family Affairs. Part of the website, written in simple language, is directed at children and adolescents. “Diversity of gender” and sexual orientation are explained from the perspective of the LGBT ideology. 

The website claims that there are “much more” than two genders and provides information on medication touted as aiding girls and boys to “transition” between sexes.

Addressing children, the website reads: 

Do you feel more comfortable as a girl? Or do you feel more comfortable as a boy? The important thing is: you should feel good now. It doesn’t matter how you will live in 10 years.

A section on the website titled “young and transgender” produced an outcry on social media, leading the government slightly alter the text. The page had garnered attention for promoting puberty blockers
