Head of Florida health department slams ‘profoundly corrupt’ CDC over handling of pandemic

(LifeSiteNews) — Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo, who has received significant pushback for challenging the prevailing narrative on COVID-19 and experimental vaccines, blasted the CDC on Monday as “profoundly corrupt” and “bereft of any integrity” for its handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I’m not at the CDC, but from what I’ve seen they’ve just been incredibly corrupt,” Ladapo said during an interview with former Trump adviser Steve Bannon on his “War Room Pandemic” show hosted by Real America’s Voice.

Dr. Ladapo, who earned his MD from Harvard Medical School and his Ph.D. from Harvard University, was appointed to lead Florida’s health department last year. In his role, he has frequently spoken out about COVID-19 jabs, lockdowns, mask mandates, and other restrictions.

Last week, Ladapo generated controversy and was even temporarily censored on Twitter when he published the results of a study that found an “84% increase in the relative incidence of cardiac-related death among males 18-39 years old within 28 days following mRNA vaccination.”
