Hollywood attorney makes divorce easier with an online service

LOS ANGELES, California, January 26, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) — A celebrity Hollywood divorce lawyer has launched a website that will enable couples to divorce via their computers or tablets and skip having to hire an attorney or going to the courthouse.

Laura Wasser says the goal for ItsOverEasy.com is “changing the face of divorce.”

Wasser, who has represented personalities such as Angelina Jolie, Christina Aguilera and Johnny Depp, wanted to use some of the strategies she has acquired during her career to help regular couples, Fox Business reported.

The idea came from her personal online shopping habits, the report said, and from hearing that some people want to handle their own divorces but find the process too confusing, expensive or intimidating.

“I feel like there’s so many people who these days shop online, date online, bank online — maybe they actually even met dating online — and now they’re married,” Wasser said. “Why not give them the opportunity to do this online?”

Both parties must to use the site to complete their judgment, but work is transferable to an attorney if necessary.
