In-N-Out burger chain to ban employees in 5 states from wearing masks, memo reveals

(LifeSiteNews) — Beloved American fast-food chain In-N-Out is slated to ban employees in five states from donning masks, internal company emails reveal.

According to an internal company email leaked to social media late last week, the famous west coast burger chain is planning to bar its employees in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Texas and Utah from wearing face masks while on the job, a move being praised by conservatives online.

According to the memo, part of the motivation behind the measure is to allow customers to see the “smiles” and “other facial features” of employees.

The company says that only those with a valid medical note can continue obscuring their face while on the job, and failure to abide by the new dictate can result in termination of employment.

Founded in 1948, In-N-Out currently operates in seven states, with Oregon and California being the two exempt from the new maskless mandate, which goes into effect August 14.
