Nigel Farage vows to ‘fight on’ after UK bank reverses decision to close his account

(LifeSiteNews) — News broke Tuesday night that Coutts bank has reversed its decision to close Nigel Farage’s account for ideological reasons.

The move appears calculated to contain a scandal which continues to grow, and one which has already seen the departure of the CEO of NatWest, Dame Alison Rose, and that of Coutts – the NatWest subsidiary in which Farage’s money was held.

Despite the U-turn, which sees Coutts bank backpedal its politically-motivated decision, Farage has vowed to continue his campaign against a banking industry which the Daily Mail reported had been closing over 1000 accounts every working day.

“Let’s get politics out of banking, let’s get prejudice out of banking.” So said Farage in an interview with GB News, as he explained how “most of these people aren’t in my position, they haven’t got the platform, they haven’t got the opportunity to fight back.”

Farage launched a campaign against the ESG inspired and widespread practice of de-banking people on July 30.
