Nonprofit linked to Manitoba gov’t urges teachers to push UN’s ‘Agenda 2030’ in classrooms

(LifeSiteNews) — Lesson plans from an organization closely affiliated with the provincial government of Manitoba are now instructing teachers to push the United Nations’ “2030 Agenda” on school children.

The Manitoba Council for International Cooperation (MCIC) – a non-profit that acts as a consultant to the provincial government – is helping to push the 2030 Agenda’s “Sustainable Development Goals” (SDGs) on children by telling teachers to promote the material in their classrooms. 

“Explain to students that these goals were created at the 2015 United Nations Summit,” one lesson plan tells teachers. “193 United Nations came together to create these goals for the ‘Transforming our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.’ We only have a few years left, with a lot of work yet to do!”  

“We are determined to implement this agenda through a global partnership, based on a spirit of global solidarity, focused in particular on the needs of the poorest and most vulnerable and with the participation of all countries, all stakeholders and all people,” the plan continues.
