Obama, Kamala Harris’ husband announce they have COVID despite being vaxxed to the max

(LifeSiteNews) — Former U.S. President Barack Obama and Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff, the husband of Vice President Kamala Harris, both announced this week they contracted COVID-19 despite being “fully vaccinated” and boosted.

“I just tested positive for COVID,” Obama wrote in a March 13 Twitter post.

The former president, who said he’s “grateful to be vaccinated and boosted,” explained he has had “a scratchy throat for a couple days, but am feeling fine otherwise.”

Obama added that his wife, former First Lady Michelle Obama, has thus far tested negative for the virus.

“It’s a reminder to get vaccinated if you haven’t already, even as cases go down,” he argued, regardless of the fact that the jabs don’t stop transmission or infection with the virus.

I just tested positive for COVID. I’ve had a scratchy throat for a couple days, but am feeling fine otherwise. Michelle and I are grateful to be vaccinated and boosted, and she has tested negative.
