Oklahoma Police have detailed that a gunman walked into Louie’s Grill and Bar on the East side of Lake Hefner in Oklahoma City and injured four before being stopped by an armed citizen in the parking lot.
The gunman walked into the establishment on Thursday at around 6:30pm local time and injured at least four people.
“A bystander with a pistol confronted the shooter outside the restaurant and fatally shot him,” Oklahoma police tweeted Thursday night.Â
The police stated that the gunman’s motives were unknown and that the shooter was the only one who was murdered in the incident.
A man told an Oklahoma TV station that his daughter and granddaughter, who were at the restaurant for a birthday party, were shot, and that he would like to thank the bystander who killed the shooter.Â
