Orthodox Star of ‘Jewish Matchmaking’ Shares Secrets for Finding Life-Long Relationships

JERUSALEM, Israel – Jewish matchmakers have been getting couples together for thousands of years, The Bible records the first Jewish match in the book of Genesis, when Abraham dispatches his servant Eliezer to find a wife from his own people for his son, Isaac.

Later, matchmakers were were popularized in song from the hit Broadway musical and film, Fiddler on the Roof. And today, the Netflix production, “Jewish Matchmaking,” which debuted in May, is a popular spinoff from an earlier show called “Indian Matchmaking.”

Aleeza Ben Shalom, an Orthodox Jewish woman, hosts the program, and CBN News had a chance to talk with her about the keys to finding a mate.
