The Pentagon orders all stores on military bases to stop selling phones from Chinese companies

Pentagon officials decreed on Wednesday, May 2nd, 2018 that all stores on military bases are to stop selling phones and electronic equipment owned by Chinese companies Huawei and ZTE.

According to Lucas Tomlinson of Fox News, citing warnings from us intelligence officials, the phones could be secretly spying on unsuspecting Americans.

The order to ban the products from being sold on military bases is an order that is going out worldwide.

According to a Pentagon spokesman, Major Dave Eastburn the phones and Telecom equipment could pose a security risk.

In February top officials from the CIA, the NSA, the FBI, and the defense intelligence agency told Congress that Americans should not use the phones or Telecom equipment produced by the aforementioned Chinese companies.
