Racism? Internet Fury As White Sorority Sisters Are Seen Singing Controversial “N-Word” Lyric From Kanye West Song

A University of New Hampshire sorority is facing widespread backlash from groups and individuals claiming that their singing along to Kanye West’s song “Gold Digger” is racist.

The song, which includes the lyrics “I ain’t sayin’ she’s a gold digger… but she ain’t messin’ with no broke n***r,” has hundreds of millions of views and listens across the internet.

The backlash started following the emergence of a video published to social media where the sorority sisters can be seen dancing to and reciting the controversial “she ain’t messin with no broke n***r” chorus of the song.

The video was “exposed” on Facebook by All Eyes on UNH, a local university group that purports to show injustices on campus.

Is it racism?
