JENISON, Michigan, September 26, 2017 (LifeSiteNews) The bittersweet dream of a Michigan mom who gave her life for her unborn baby has sadly come true.
Carrie DeKlyen had told her husband Nick about a dream that she was rocking a baby girl when she found out months ago she was expecting.
But Carrie DeKlyen did not get to hold her daughter in this life.
The 37-year-old mom of six passed away September 9 after weeks in a coma. Her daughter, Life Lynn, born September 6 at 24 weeks with Carrie DeKlyen still unconscious, followed her mother in passing just 11 days later on September 20.
Nick DeKlyen recalled that dream and its significance after his baby daughter’s death last Wednesday.
“Now the dream she told me is now making sense,” he said. “I never thought it would be heaven, but I know that is what she is doing. She is rocking her daughter in heaven.”
