This pro-life ‘hero’ has helped save thousands of children from abortion

WASHINGTON, D.C. (LifeSiteNews) – From Brooklyn to the Bronx and beyond, Chris Slattery is being recognized for his tremendous impact on the pro-life movement after his diagnosis of stage 4 colon cancer. 

“He is an amazing man, who has followed the Lord and followed this calling to be a voice for the voiceless,” said Bryan Kemper, founder of the pro-life group Stand True. “The work he has done in New York City with the pregnancy help centers is absolutely invaluable. It’s so amazing.”

Slattery is the founder of Expectant Mother Care, a network of New York City-based pregnancy centers that provides only pro-life alternatives to abortion. Over the past three decades, the network has saved an estimated 43,000 children from abortion. Slattery has also been responsible for training hundreds, if not thousands, of sidewalk counselors from around the country to successfully sway mothers from choosing abortion.
