Trudeau says Europe trip was a success, but multiple EU politicians would beg to differ

(LifeSiteNews) — The Office of the Prime Minister of Canada released a statement on Thursday saying that the Trudeau “successfully concluded his trip” to Europe. However, multiple European politicians called him out for what they viewed as gaslighting hypocrisy, and when he gave his main speech to the European Parliament, the room was mostly empty.

After Trudeau blasted the Freedom Convoy in his speech, Croatian Member of European Parliament (MEP) excoriated Trudeau as someone who “trample[s] … basic rights.”

He said that Canada, which was “once a symbol of the modern world is under your [Trudeau’s] quasi-liberal leadership, and over past few months it has become a symbol of violating basic human rights and civic freedoms.”

He called Trudeau’s government a “dictatorship of the worst kind” and said that “regimes” which rule
