President Donald Trump is speaking at the annual convention of the National Rifle Association (NRA) in Dallas, Texas.
The event at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center — which seats approximately 9,200 — quickly sold out after Trump announced he would be attending.
Trump’s speech comes less than three months after the February 14 mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, which left 17 dead.
The massacre reignited the national debate on gun control and sparked a student-led movement for gun law reform.
