Description:

Officials say two trains have collided head-on in eastern South Korea, leaving one passenger dead and dozens of others injured. Fire officials say the collision between two passenger trains occurred Tuesday in the eastern Gangwon province but the cause of the incident wasn't immediately known. The officials say one woman in her 60s was killed and 65 people were sent to hospitals for injuries. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity citing department rules and gave no further details.
