The USA For The First Time is Among The 12 Worst Christian Persecution Nations – Watchdog Group

  See Comments   Region:

In an unbelievable turn of events, the ‘christian nation’ that was the USA has now made the list of the 12 worst Christian Persecution Nations.

“We felt it was very important this year that we highlight three countries where religious discrimination and persecution are deemed unusual but have reached a certain threshold of concern. These are Mexico, Russia, and sadly, the United States,” explained in a press release Jeff King, president of International Christian Concern.

While conditions in the US are in no way comparable to other countries on the list, a certain segment of the culture and the courts seem to be intent on driving faith out of the public square. There have been too many court cases with bad decisions to miss the clear trend line.”

The ICC report divides the 12 countries into three categories. Nigeria, Iraq and Syria were listed among “the worst of the worst” countries for Christians, due largely to the rise of Islamic extremism and the ongoing terror attacks throughout these nations.

The United States of America just made the hall of shame, what say you reader?

I fear NO MAN… I love Jesus Christ an I am willing to lay down my life, if that is what may happen.. I am ashamed at our country an I pray daily for all who do not have their hearts right.. I never thought I would see the day that Satan would be worshipped publicly, esp in our schools! May God have mercy on the souls of the ones that are being confused on the truth.. May God continue to bless you all at Official Street Preachers.

As a Catholic, we have known persecution for many years. This ranges from the Know Nothing Party to assaults by the Klan. I will say that this country provides m o re freedoms than some countries though.

I have to disagree. Catholics are Christians. Catholics confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior. We believe that He suffered, died, and rose from the dead. We also can trace ourselves back to Him Who founded our Church.

CATHOLICS grasp everything that gives them an appearance of wisdom and religiosity but do nothing to separate themselves from sinful behavior. CATHOLICS ARE A NASTY BUNCH OF VIPERS! Catholics are Pharisees! JESUS HATED THEM! Called them VIPERS!! They curse, lie, sit in the seat of mockers (Psalm 1:1,) and think they are god’s children! One day, Catholics will ask Jesus “but why?” MY PRIEST told ME that YOU told HIM I was going to heaven! Mother Mary can vouch for me!!! Here’s my catholic church membership card!! LOOK AT MY WORKS!! HELP MEeeee!! You see, Mother Mary can’t hear prayers. She is not omnipresent! Baptising INFANTS to the catholic church is NOT how God makes Christians. It’s how Catholicism makes Catholics. Mark 16:16; Romans 6:3-5 and lastly, GOOGLE “ARE CATHOLICS CHRISTIANS?” ANSWER IS NO AND POINTS TO SCRIPTURE. SEE HOW EASY IT HAS BECOME TO EXPOSE THEM??

Cannot non-Catholics say the same thing? Are Protestants free from sin?

“CATHOLICS ARE A NASTY BUNCH OF VIPERS!”

Have yo ever met good, orthodox Catholics before?

“JESUS HATED THEM!”

Our Lord did not hate the Pharisees, per se, but he did hate their hypocrisy.

“MY PRIEST told ME that YOU told HIM I was going to heaven!”

I have never heard a priest say that.

“Mother Mary can vouch for me!!!”

I hope that she prays for me.

“Here’s my catholic church membership card!!”

Just being a Catholic does not guarantee you Heaven.

“You see, Mother Mary can’t hear prayers.”

How do you know this?

“She is not omnipresent”

No one said that she was.

“Baptising INFANTS to the catholic church is NOT how God makes Christians.”

Oh? What about these verses:
Jn 3:5; Mk 16:16 – baptism required for entering heaven
1Cor 15:21-22 – in Adam all die, in Christ all made alive
Mk 10:14 – let children come; to such belongs the kingdom
Lk 18:15 – people were bringing even infants to him…
Col 2:11-12 – baptism has replaced circumcision
Jos 24:15 – as for me and my house, we will serve Lord
Mt 8:5ff. – daughter healed because of centurion’s faith
Mt 15:21ff. – daughter healed because of Canaanite woman’s faith
Lk 7:1ff. – just say the word, and let my servant be healed
Acts 16:31 – believe in Lord Jesus you & house will be saved
Acts 16:15 – she was baptized, with all her household
Acts 16:33 – he and all his family were baptized at once
1Cor 1:16 – I baptized the household of Stephanas

“GOOGLE “ARE CATHOLICS CHRISTIANS?” ANSWER IS NO AND POINTS TO SCRIPTURE. SEE HOW EASY IT HAS BECOME TO EXPOSE THEM??”

Don’t believe everything that is on the internet. Some of it could be “fake news.”

Could I not,as well, accuse you of plucking verses out of Scripture to fit your beliefs? Would you care if I looked at your site and have a civil discussion as to why you are mistaken?

I agree the persecution is increasing in the USA, but it far better here than many, many, many other nations. Opendoorsusa.org describes the heart breaking persecution that is occurring around the globe. “We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies. For we who live are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. So death is at work in us, but life in you.” 2 Corinthians 4:8-12 ESV

Jesus did not come to save nations. Only individuals.

Correct, Jesus did not come to save nations—with one exception: Israel.

But first, the Tribulation. God’s Word tells us that the Lord will gather all nations together against Israel in the day of judgment (see Joel 3:2, Zechariah 14:1-2).

Tragically, 2/3 of the Jews (living in hedonism and idolatry, just like the majority of the world) will perish at this time (Zechariah 13:8-9). The nation will stand to be obliterated, except for the Second Advent of our Savior, “with ten thousands of his saints” (Jude 1:14) to rescue Israel.

The nations arrayed against Israel will be smitten when the Lord descends upon the Mount of Olives (Zechariah 14:4). Jesus will “smite the nations” with the sword of His mouth (Revelation 19:15). Then He will initiate His reign over the Millennial Kingdom (Zechariah 14:9).

One third of Israel (the remnant) will repent when they “look upon me whom they have pierced, and shall mourn for him….” (Zechariah 12:10). This is when the Lord fulfills, or “performs his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem” (Isaiah 10:12).

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped…shall stay upon the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, in truth” (Isaiah 10:20).

This is the same time when “all Israel shall be saved” (Romans 11:26) and is proof of the “everlasting covenant” (a declaration repeated throughout Scripture) that God made with His chosen people.

No such covenant has ever been made with any other nation or people. The United States—along with every other nation arrayed against Israel—is destined for judgment, not deliverance.

This is why the Latter Rain prophesies are false; they will never be able to “reclaim the seven mountains” of the United States.

This is also why Donald Trump—nor any president, not the Catholic church nor the Mormon church, nor the Jehovah’s Witnesses, nor Evangelicals, nor any combination of these will EVER be able to “make America great again.”

That is simply not our purpose on this planet.

Followers of Jesus—biblical Christians who are disciples of Christ, not Joseph Smith or any human prophet or priest or Pope—are here to “seek and to save” those who are lost, “redeeming the time, for the days are evil” (Ephesians 5:16).

Israel is not a place, it’s a people. People just LOVE dismissing the following verse as utter nonsense.

Romans 2:28

“28 A man is not a Jew because he is one outwardly, nor is circumcision only outward and physical.

29 No, a man is a Jew because he is one inwardly, and circumcision is a matter of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man’s praise does not come from men, but from God.”

The land of Israel practice Judaism. Judaism does not recognize Jesus Christ with any significance whatsoever. Indeed, there is no such thing as a Star Of David in ALL of scripture. That’s the Star Of Remphan. Synagogue of Satan (Acts 7:43)

Listen.. People will say whatever they want to concerning scripture at THEIR place of worship. I will focus on my own ministry at internetplanet.org and not focus on others.

Go in peace.
