One of the greatest benefits of our salvation has to be that of hearing God speak to us personally. There can be no intimate relationship with our heavenly Father without it. But, as easy as it is for us to speak to Him, the average Christian has a hard time hearing His voice. This is not the way the Lord intended it to be.

Christians tend to play the God card whenever they want justification for decisions they make based on their wants. How often do we get the answer we want when we pray? Does it always seem like God tells you what you want to hear?

I can testify to that. Since I took myself of Lithium and am now a Christian following God’s words and taking responsibility for my own health I have never been calmer and more content. Lithium being a mood stabiliser made me worse I experienced extreme rages and would frequently find myself recalling past times where I was a victim of bullying and sexual harassment. Now I feel I have reached a point where I have forgiven these people and can get on with my life.
