What if one day while you were eating out or watching the news your host wasn’t human, instead, it was a humanoid. The world of robotics is rapidly yet quietly integrating with ours. First came the computer, then the cell phone, after that the smartphone, and now it’s the ‘assistant.’

That rapid progression didn’t take place overnight but it did take place on an exponential timeline. Technology is advancing at such a pace that humanity cannot keep up with it. Instead, each year we’re all too dazzled by the latest iPhone, to realize what is actually taking place.

In the world of robotics, things keep getting more and more realistic. So much so, that just a couple months ago Sophia a ‘female’ robot was able to obtain citizenship in Saudi Arabia. What we as a human race are witnessing is the rise of Artificial Intelligence and with that brings robotics, automation, and a Technocratic future.

The operators behind such advancements are increasingly challenging ethical standards and human understanding all for a certain gain. While the governments of the world are not yet prepared to deal with the exponential timeline of robotics; people like Elon Musk, Bill Gates, and Eric Schmidt are. Robotics are vastly set to overtake hundreds of thousands of jobs over the next several years, but at what cost to humans?

Governmental Agenda For Coping With the Loss of Income Created by Technologies.

Some governmental bodies are preparing their respective populaces to accept Universal Basic Income (UBI) as the only means to counteract the job loss created by the advancement of technology. However, other than UBI, what suggested alternative does mankind have to the job loss created by artificial intelligence?

But first, why is Universal Basic Income a bad idea? Who doesn’t want an extra thousand dollars a month? While UBI may sound great at first, let’s remember that your families livelihood would no longer be in your hands, rather, if a governmental agency is responsible for dispensing UBI, there could be certain requirements, restrictions, and of course each person would get the exact same amount regardless of what you actually needed.

To better explain why UBI is not exactly ideal when you are in control of your finances, you decide what income is needed to affirm and live out your intended lifestyle, but with Universal Basic Income, that all would be in the hands of someone else say an organization within a governmental agency. Over time, the organization would become a ‘select few’ and it would gradually get smaller and more distant.

In addition, the respective government of the populace, in place to regulate, would vastly become financially supported by only a select few conglomerate organizations who are in control of the robotics. Meaning that while the governmental body is obliged to support you financially, the corporation would delegate what exactly that meant, because the corporation is the organization supporting the governing structure.

Universal Basic Income is not a new idea, rather, the entirety of the structure is based on welfare, essentially, the agencies responsible for suggesting this idea are suggesting placing the entire world into a welfare state.

Challenging Our Understanding

In addition to automation demolishing the job market, robots are increasingly becoming more realistic. Several companies are attempting to create realistic humanoids, as seen in the Wall Street Journal video above, but going a step further technology isn’t just going to be a part of our communities, instead, technologists are working to craft these creations into us.

As previously explained by The Official Street Preachers, these creations cross the line between human and machine, and strikingly resemble that mentioned in the Book of Revelation;

—Revelation 13:16-17
16 And he made all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand or in their foreheads.

17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark or the name of the beast or the number of his name.

As a stark example; below is a clip of Dr. Oz displaying an RFID microchip which he and his team claim will be embedded under an individuals’ skin on their right or left hand.

In addition, technology has become so powerful and so influential into our lives, that some are even beginning to worship the latest tech;

Anthony Levandowski makes an unlikely prophet. Dressed Silicon Valley-casual in jeans and flanked by a PR rep rather than cloaked acolytes, the engineer known for self-driving cars—and triggering a notorious lawsuit—could be unveiling his latest startup instead of laying the foundations for a new religion. But he is doing just that. Artificial intelligence has already inspired billion-dollar companies, far-reaching research programs, and scenarios of both transcendence and doom. Now Levandowski is creating its first church.

The new religion of artificial intelligence is called Way of the Future. It represents an unlikely next act for the Silicon Valley robotics wunderkind at the center of a high-stakes legal battle between Uber and Waymo, Alphabet’s autonomous-vehicle company. Papers filed with the Internal Revenue Service in May name Levandowski as the leader (or “Dean”) of the new religion, as well as CEO of the nonprofit corporation, formed to run it.   —Wired

Advancements in technology are increasingly reaching a boiling point; whether it be by challenging ethics, our livelihoods, or our understandings, and if concern is not raised over where this road leads to, then before too long it’ll be too late.

I look forward to the return of Yeshus Ha’Mashiach and do not fear these robots.They are doomed in the end.
