In 2016, Alphabet Inc. Patented ‘Google Lens,’ a computerized contact lens that gets embedded into the eye which can record and take pictures. In 2017, Alphabet Inc. brings about the first phase of ‘Google Lens’ in the form of an ‘image-recognition AI’ for your smartphone.

The conglomerate corporation Alphabet the parent company to Google and YouTube has taken the first steps to bring about full-blown integrated image-recognition technology that places artificial intelligence in the hands of the user. Previously such technology has been available but not to this degree.

Image-Recognition technology uses what is called computer vision, think of a robot that can see you, a store front, a price tag, your personal data, and recognize what is in-front of the camera. Google is selling the technology as; “With Google Lens, your smartphone camera won’t just see what you see, but will also understand what you see to help you take action.”

In other words, Google is using its users to teach their computer scripts to recognize and remember what “they see.” Such can be very dangerous technology, especially when companies like Nvidia are using similar technology to relay the captured information to government officials.

Embedded into the smartphone as an app, is not where this technology stops, rather Google is most likely going to take this a step further, and shortly Google will be actively placing this technology into the eyes of their users – literally.

In May 2016 Google patented what is also called ‘Google Lens, ’ and it is a computerized contact lens that is embedded into the eye and cannot just be taken off. The idea is being sold to the public as ‘for medical purposes,’ as we similarly see with other technology that has come from the conglomerate technology giant.

Google is not the only tech giant aiming to bridge the biological and technological gap, other companies such as Samsung and Sony are building a cyborg contact lens which can record, track, and transmit everything seen with the eyeball as well.

Artificial intelligence will be used to govern the lives of the citizenry, all while the public is sold on the idea that the technology produced is a necessity when in reality mankind is building its own prison cells.

Well, fiction became real. Remember the movies Cyber Tracker 1 and 2 (1994/95)? It is all in there: the supersoldier, a machine controlling the whole household and to it one can talk to ect. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0109515/
Oh, did i mention Star Trek?
